Annihilator

King of The Kill

Annihilator es una banda Canadiense de thrash metal, speed metal y progressive metal, con el talentoso Jeff Water en la guitarra y voces creando un estilo carácteristico en la agrupación, nacida en Ontario, Canadá formada por el mismo Jeff en 1984, en sus inicios Jeff Waters y John Bates graban la canción “Annihilator” (no es la misma canción que aparece en el disco Kill the King) en un estudio local con Waters tocando todos los instrumentos, incluyendo la batería. Bates y Waters encuentran al bajista Dave Scott. Incluso sin un baterísta, el trío toma unas fotos de promoción y Rob Lange les hace una portada para esa demo. Poco después, encuentran al baterísta Paul Malek. Los guitarristas Myles Rourke y Joe Bongiorno están durante un tiempo en el grupo pero ninguno encaja.

Posteriormente, Annihilator grabó la demo “Welcome To Your Death” en la tienda de ropa de la madre de Malek, tiempo después hacen sus primeros conciertos en Val D’Or, Quebec. Después de que Malek abandonara el grupo, Annihilator ensaya con un baterísta de Quebec, Richard Death. Después de que Richard se fuera de Annihilator la banda se separó al completo dejando la continuidad de éste a Jeff Waters.

La canción King of the Kill posee un ritmo y potencia que sin duda hace que muevas la cabeza y quedes con ganas de más.
